We are excited about the future of Merge MP3 and are happy to share our plans for 2026. Here’s an overview of what we plan to implement in the near future:

Q1 2026

  • Add audio trimming feature to remove unwanted segments from any part of the track
  • Implement file import from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive
  • Introduce automatic file sorting by alphabet, creation date, and duration

Q2 2026

  • Implement parallel track layering (overlay tracks on top of each other)
  • Add individual volume control for each track
  • Implement individual Fade In, Fade Out, and Crossfade settings for each track

Q3 2026

  • Sound quality and bitrate settings for exporting the final audio file
  • Implement the ability to insert pauses and silence between tracks
  • Add playback speed adjustment feature while preserving pitch

Q4 2026

  • Automatic noise reduction and background noise removal
  • Add advanced equalizer with ready-made presets for various scenarios: “Podcast,” “Music,” “Voice,” “Bass,” and the ability to create custom presets
  • Audio reverse feature for creating sound effects

Under Consideration

  • Implement batch processing to create multiple output files in a single session
  • Markers and bookmarks for quick navigation through long recordings
  • Mobile app for iOS and Android
  • Implement project saving to continue working at any time
