Roadmap
We are excited about the future of Merge MP3 and are happy to share our plans for 2026. Here’s an overview of what we plan to implement in the near future:
Q1 2026
- Add audio trimming feature to remove unwanted segments from any part of the track
- Implement file import from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive
- Introduce automatic file sorting by alphabet, creation date, and duration
Q2 2026
- Implement parallel track layering (overlay tracks on top of each other)
- Add individual volume control for each track
- Implement individual Fade In, Fade Out, and Crossfade settings for each track
Q3 2026
- Sound quality and bitrate settings for exporting the final audio file
- Implement the ability to insert pauses and silence between tracks
- Add playback speed adjustment feature while preserving pitch
Q4 2026
- Automatic noise reduction and background noise removal
- Add advanced equalizer with ready-made presets for various scenarios: “Podcast,” “Music,” “Voice,” “Bass,” and the ability to create custom presets
- Audio reverse feature for creating sound effects
Under Consideration
- Implement batch processing to create multiple output files in a single session
- Markers and bookmarks for quick navigation through long recordings
- Mobile app for iOS and Android
- Implement project saving to continue working at any time
